Post-excavation assessment and analysis involves specialist examination of the artefacts and ecofacts that are recovered from excavations, evaluations and watching briefs.

We have in-house expertise in many areas of post-excavation, and we also use recognised independent specialists where required.

Archiving involves preparing the archaeological record obtained from a project to deposit in a museum repository. This can comprise the paper archive and the material archive (e.g. artefacts) as well as a digital archive.

Archiving is an important final step of a project and is often the point at which a planning condition is discharged.
